Apple has temporarily removed the MetaMask wallet from the App Store, but the wallet provider assures users that there is no security concern or functionality issue. They are working to resolve the situation and expect MetaMask to be back on the App Store soon. This is not the first time MetaMask has faced challenges with app marketplaces controlled by tech giants. Apple's guidelines, including the requirement for developers to share 30% of transaction revenues, pose a challenge for crypto apps. Apple has also removed the Bitcoin-friendly social media app Damus from the App Store for violating its terms of service.
