Despite the perception of a saturated global fast food market, McDonald's believes that as society evolves, they should adapt by adding more restaurants to maximize sales in all areas. The CEO also noted that there are many underserved areas in the US where McDonald's can pursue development opportunities. Additionally, the company is considering changes to the traditional concept of a McDonald's, exploring smaller formats due to the growth of digital and delivery services. McDonald's has been testing a new restaurant concept called "CosMc's" and may reveal more details during an investor event. Alongside the expansion of locations, McDonald's plans to significantly increase its loyalty program, aiming to have 250 million active users within 90 days by 2027. Loyalty programs allow companies to learn more about customer preferences and offer targeted deals to retain customers.
