OpenAI CEO Sam Altman delivered a keynote address at the Open AI DevDay conference in San Francisco. During the event, OpenAI unveiled updates to its ChatGPT chatbot technology, including the ability for developers to create custom versions called GPTs. The company also announced the launch of the GPT Store, where GPTs will be listed and categorized. Altman also showcased GPT-4 Turbo, the latest version of the technology powering ChatGPT. OpenAI currently has 2 million developers and 100 million active users. In other AI news, Humane introduced its first AI wearable device called the Ai Pin, which aims to replace smartphones. Elon Musk's AI startup xAI unveiled a chatbot called Grok for users of his platform X (formerly known as Twitter) and announced that it will soon be available on the Premium+ service. OpenAI also experienced outages due to a potential targeted attack on its servers, which the company attributed to a DDoS attack.
