Toyota will start using Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) for its electric vehicles sold in the US from 2025, joining other automakers such as Ford, GM, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, and Kia that have already made the switch. This move allows Toyota customers to access Tesla's fast-charging superchargers. However, Stellantis, which makes Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, and Jeep vehicles, has yet to announce a switch to NACS. Smaller automakers like Volkswagen, Mazda, and Subaru have also not made any commitments to switch to NACS.
