The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will make decisions on two Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) by November 17, according to Bloomberg Intelligence. The ETFs in question are the Hashdex Bitcoin ETF (DEFI) and the Franklin Bitcoin ETF. The decision deadlines for both ETFs are on November 17, 2023, and January 1, 2024, respectively. The SEC may release the results before these deadlines. The approval of the DEFI ETF could have implications for similar cases and could advance the progress towards a spot Bitcoin ETF. Another Bitcoin ETF application, filed by Global X with Coinbase as a surveillance-sharing partner, will also receive a decision by November 21.
