BlackRock and Bitwise have recently updated their filings for Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In its updated submission, BlackRock filed an amended S-1 filing for its proposed Bitcoin ETF, demonstrating its commitment to launching the product. Similarly, Bitwise also filed an amended application for its Bitcoin ETF. Financial institutions like BlackRock and Grayscale have been engaging with the SEC regarding their Bitcoin ETF filings, indicating ongoing discussions and efforts to address concerns. The price of Bitcoin has reached $42,000, showing a significant increase from a week ago. According to Blockstream CEO Adam Back, Bitcoin could reach $700,000 within two years, potentially surpassing physical gold as a valuable asset.
