Anheuser-Busch's US marketing chief is stepping down as Bud Light sales sink
Anheuser-Busch InBev's US chief marketing officer is resigning following a decline in Bud Light sales. The company announced that Benoit Garbe will be stepping down at the end of the year to pursue new opportunities. Garbe has held the position for over two years, and the company's US chief commercial officer, Kyle Norrington, will now oversee marketing. Anheuser-Busch reported a 13.5% drop in third-quarter US revenue, attributed to a loss of Bud Light customers after a controversial partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. The company is restructuring its executive team to streamline operations and improve performance. Despite the setback, Anheuser-Busch remains hopeful as research shows a significant number of former Bud Light customers are willing to give the brand another chance.
