Approximately 100 employees of Airbus Atlantic became sick after a Christmas lunch, according to a spokesperson for the company. The incident occurred during a holiday celebration for the Airbus subsidiary in France. The spokesperson stated that the employees contracted a food-borne illness, but did not specify the type of food. Fortunately, no serious illnesses were reported, and all employees had returned to work by the following Monday. Airbus Atlantic, a subsidiary specializing in airplane seats, has 13,000 employees in five countries. French health authorities are currently investigating the outbreak, and Airbus is cooperating to determine the cause and prevent future occurrences.
